The Pipe Foreman will be able to effectively and safely supervise the layout, assembly, and installation of various sizes and types of utility pipes, and study project specifications to plan sequencing and installation.
Essential Functions
- Coordinates and supervises daily activities of a laborers / crew.
- Uses heavy equipment to excavate, install and backfill drainage pipe.
- Sequences pipe installation to reduce inference with other project activities and the public.
- Continually inspects work site, surveying for potential hazards or safety concerns.
- Responsible for crew safety and establishes safe work environment that complies with the Company safety program.
- Observes assigned equipment to detect machinery malfunctions. Assures the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Analyzes job cost reports to ensure production is within budget.
- Perform various tasks at the job site with equipment provided.
- Complete and approve weekly timecard related to assigned job.
- Other duties as assigned.

This is a full time position. 40 hours per week and may require longer hours including evenings, weekends and overtime.
Travel
Occasional travel may be required.
Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or GED.Basic math skills.Three years’ experience of large earthmoving and utility projects including sanitary, storm and waterline installation.Ability to use a handheld survey controller (rover) for layout of utilities and structures.Familiarity with OSHA, DEP and other governing body regulations.Basic computer skillsValid driver’s license.Preferred Education and Experience
