Job descriptionProvide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatments Manage medication for inpatients Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including nursing staff and other medical professionals Document all patient interactions and treatments in the Epic EMR system Adhere to the highest standards of medical practice, ethics, and professionalism at all times Must be licensed to practice in North Carolina Required Board Certification : Psychiatry Must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) Experience with adult inpatient care is essential Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities
We are seeking a Psychiatrist for a 70-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This position, set to start on Jan 5, 2026, offers a schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off. The Psychiatrist will provide adult inpatient care, leveraging the Epic EMR system to enhance patient outcomes. Ideal candidates will have experience in adult psychiatric settings and be board-certified in Psychiatry.
