• Teaching hospital experience
• Trauma Level I experience
• Required case skills and procedures as specified in the job description

Description :

The position requires an OR Tech / Surgical Tech to assist during surgeries.

The average daily census is 50-60 cases per day.

The candidate must be able to cover weekends once a month with a total obligation of 16 hours.

On-call duty is required as needed for the department.

Floating within the scope of practice is expected to meet facility needs.

All time off must be discussed and approved by the manager.

The candidate should have experience in a wide range of surgical procedures including those in General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics, and Trauma.

Special procedures require familiarity with specific equipment and instrumentation.

The position demands adherence to strict safety and procedural standards including aseptic technique and universal protocols.

Experience in managing emergency situations is also crucial.

The candidate must be able to complete the full assignment without attendance or behavioral issues.

This is a sensitive position requiring a professional demeanor and commitment to patient safety.
