Acquisitions Analyst

Empowered Staffing is partnered with a rapidly growing real estate investment firm with a diverse portfolio spanning multifamily properties, self-storage facilities, and ground-up developments across the United States. As the firm continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Acquisitions Analyst to join its Skokie team and focus on identifying, analyzing, and managing prospective development opportunities.

Responsibilities :

Conduct in-depth research on target markets to identify acquisition opportunities and emerging trends.

Analyze demographic, economic, and competitive factors to assess property potential.

Develop detailed financial models to evaluate acquisition opportunities, including pro forma statements and discounted cash flow analysis.

Prepare feasibility studies to assess the viability and profitability of potential development projects.

Perform thorough due diligence on prospective properties, including reviewing zoning regulations, environmental assessments, title documentation, and market conditions.

Identify and evaluate potential sites for development based on company objectives and market conditions.

Conduct site visits to assess property features, surrounding areas, and development constraints.

Prepare detailed investment memorandums and presentations for internal stakeholders and investors.

Summarize key findings, potential risks, and recommendations for property acquisitions.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, Economics, or a related field preferred.

2+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, development, or related roles preferred.

Strong financial modeling and analysis skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Argus, and other real estate analysis tools.

Strong organizational and project management abilities.

Ability to analyze and interpret complex data and market trends.
