Chief Financial Officer - Restaurants

Overview

Position Summary : We are seeking a highly capable, detail-oriented Chief Financial Officer to lead and execute the financial strategy of our growing business. This role is ideal for a finance executive who thrives in a hands-on environment, is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, and can manage and develop a lean finance and accounting team. The CFO will oversee all aspects of financial planning, reporting, controls, and compliance while ensuring operational excellence in day-to-day accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute all finance and accounting functions including GL, AP / AR, payroll, month-end close, and reporting
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and key performance metrics for internal and external stakeholders
• Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow models
• Establish and maintain internal controls and processes for accuracy and efficiency
• Manage banking relationships, covenant compliance, and investor / lender reporting
• Provide financial insight and decision support to the CEO and leadership team
• Build and mentor a high-performing, nimble finance / accounting team
• Lead audit and tax preparation activities
