Position Title : Lead IV Therapy Associate

Status : Exempt

This position reports to the Clinic Director and Assistant Clinic Director. Responsible for managing and overseeing day-to-day operations within the clinic, supervising staff accountability, and enhancing the client experience. We are a small, positive work environment seeking an organized, detail-oriented self-starter to advance into a management position at our functional health care clinic.

Essential Functions

• Administer and monitor clients' treatment and well-being including starting IVs, running fluids, and guiding clients through their services from beginning to end.
• Document interactions and communication with clients regarding therapy services, assessment, and responses / reactions to treatment.
• Demonstrate compliance with professional standards, regulations, policies and procedures, and accreditation standards.
• Lead and influence staff through motivation and education, leveraging industry strengths and ensuring productivity to align with corporate goals.
• Maintain and create trust and respect between team members and clients quickly and effectively.
• Monitor directly reporting staff issues or non-compliance to direct supervisors.
• Lead performance management activities with all staff members by example and behavior.
• Motivate the team with a commitment to positivity, including acting positively and instilling passion into the work environment.
• Assist in conflict resolution management.
• Complete training for nutrition and infusion therapies.
• Exemplifies and maintains standards related to culture and ethical behavior.
• All other duties as assigned.

Physical Activities and Requirements

Physical requirements include ability to speak effectively, hear average conversations, type continuously, use hands to type and maneuver a mouse, and vision requirements including close, color, peripheral, depth perception with 20 / 20 vision (corrected or uncorrected). Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted and 100 pounds assisted; stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for long periods.

Working Conditions

This position typically works eight to ten hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends. General clinic environment with climate control and adequate lighting.

Mental Activities and Requirements

Reasoning Ability : Ability to deal with a variety of variables under limited standardization; able to establish credibility and be decisive.

Mathematics Ability : Strong numeric capabilities; ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and common fractions.

Language Ability : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical documents; ability to communicate clearly.
