Pay : $15-$18 per hour

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

• Support veterinarians to ensure exceptional veterinary care; advocate for patients, and educate clients
• Assist doctors and technicians during patient treatments and procedures including x-rays, placing IV catheters, running bloodwork
• Basic animal husbandry and care
• Cleaning, laundry, and kennel maintenance
• Maintaining surgical suite and equipment before, during and after surgery
• Maintaining and understanding the sterility of equipment
• Constantly advance your knowledge base and skill set
• Willingness to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members

Skills and Qualifications :

Must be able to lift and restrain pets of at least 50 pounds, and work on feet most of the day.
