Job descriptionTrim to Scenthound standards Focused on functional trims, our 5 types of haircuts consist of one length all-over with a neat face Create an environment conducive to learning, open communication, and teamwork Identify when / where help is needed and provide assistance to keep Scenter on schedule Ensure the safety of dogs and team members at all times Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning best practices Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Scenter Manager Excellent communication skills Solution mindset Works with a sense of urgency Capacity to stay on schedule Ability to self-critique; hold oneself and others to high standards Coachable Empathetic Ability to adapt quickly Learner / teacher mindset Can take accountability Upholds all safety standards Values working with a team

About the Position :
The Dog Groomer is an integral position at Scenthound, offering dog first knowledge and providing trimming services to customers.
This Dog Groomer position requires :
- At least one year of grooming experience or graduation from a grooming school
- Knowledge of dog behavior, care standards, and tool and equipment handling
- Strength to lift up to 70 pounds; stamina to stand for long periods of time
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment

We are searching for a confident dog groomer who loves to work with dogs! We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, perceptive, patient, empathetic adaptable, and a compassionate team player to join our team! An individual with a take charge attitude, and an interest in all things leadership and training is a plus!
