Location : San Diego, CA 92123 (Kearny Mesa Facility)

Schedule : Full-time – 5 days / week initially, transitioning to Hybrid 4 days / week after Mid-January

1-Year Contract (Potential to extend or convert)

Pay : Up to $38 / hour

About the Role

The Operations Coordinator supports gas emergency response and compliance-driven Maintenance & Inspection activities across the SDG&E service territory. This role partners with Gas Technical Services (GTS) Supervision, Region Engineering, Construction & Operations Centers, Construction Services, and Field Utilities Specialists to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant execution of operational tasks.

What You’ll Do

• Act as the primary coordinator for the GTS Inspection & Maintenance Program .
• Create, manage, and track work orders and notifications in SAP-PM
• Validate and update inspection and maintenance records
• Prepare job packages, maps, field memos, and supporting documentation
• Monitor field work (follow-ups, scope changes, access issues, joint meets)
• Ensure all records meet Compliance & Records Retention requirements
• Support and train other coordinators on SAP, scheduling, and workflow processes
• Coordinate with Legal, Audit Services, CPUC, Claims, Land Management, and other partners
• Generate reports using SAP-PM and HANA for audits and internal data requests
• Dispatch crews during Pipeline & LNG emergency response using CLICK
• Support special projects, system improvements, and process documentation
