Title : Registered Dietitian

Location : New York, NY 10065

Pay Rate : $48 – $50 per hour (W2 with benefits)

Assignment Duration : 5 months (possibility of extension or permanent hire)

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to provide comprehensive nutritional care to patients across all care units, including critical care (ICU and PICU). The Dietitian will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nutrition care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ nutritional needs and develop care plans.
• Modify diets, recommend enteral formulas and supplements as appropriate.
• Monitor patient progress through calorie counts, follow-ups, and rounds.
• Conduct nutrition screenings and complete assessments per policy.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and provide coverage across units.
• Coordinate home enteral feeding setups and obtain prior authorizations as needed.

Qualifications

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) – required
