Job Details – Med / Surg Tele RN Travel Assignment

Location : Uniontown, PA 15401 (Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)

Facility Setting : Acute Care – Float Pool (Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Stepdown)

Employment Type : Travel RN Contract

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : November 30, 2025

End Date : March 1, 2026

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week

Shift : 12-hour days, weekends as scheduled

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,990 - $2,130 per week

Charting System : EPIC

Scrub Color : Navy Blue

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state

BLS certification required

ACLS and NIHSS certifications required for Telemetry / Stepdown RN roles

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Med / Surg RN and / or Telemetry RN

Experience floating between Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Stepdown units

Ability to care for both 'clean' and 'dirty' patient assignments, including COVID-19 patients

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Stepdown units

Float between units as needed, adapting to diverse patient populations and acuity levels

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry strips

Titrate IV drips including Cardizem, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Heparin (Stepdown)

Manage respiratory support devices : Bipap, Cpap, and High Flow oxygen

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (hospitalists, intensivists, respiratory therapists)

Accurately document patient care in EPIC electronic health record system

Participate in self-scheduling and block scheduling as available

Work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations
