Why This Role is Special
As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will help architect next-gen automation using collaborative robots, PLCs, motion controllers, and advanced sensing systems . You will work closely with mechanical, software, and R&D teams to turn bold ideas into field-ready solutions – and contribute to patentable innovations that set new industry standards.
What You Will Do
- Lead control system design : sequence control, motion tuning, HMI integration
- Program and optimize servos, steppers, and 7-axis robots
- Solve real-world precision issues (vibration, resonance, etc.)
- Integrate smart sensors : vision, infrared LiDAR, ultrasonic
- Define system architecture with flow diagrams and state machines
- Collaborate across teams – from concept to development
- Contribute to invention disclosures and IP generation
- Travel up to 25% to support launches and customer installs
