Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Estimator for our Commercial Doors division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for commercial door projects, ensuring that all bids align with client specifications and project requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of the construction industry and expertise in Division 8 materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial door projects
• Review and analyze project plans and specifications to determine scope of work
• Collaborate with project managers to develop project budgets
• Communicate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing and material availability
• Utilize estimating software such as Comsense, E / PWS, and Avaware to produce estimates
• Provide support during the bid process and respond to client inquiries
• Track and manage changes to project scope and adjust estimates accordingly
