Surgical Technologist Level II

Overview :

The Surgical Technologist Level II plays a crucial role in assisting medical professionals during surgical procedures. Working closely under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN), this position is responsible for ensuring a safe and sterile environment for patient care. You will be involved in verifying health data and closely observing patients to provide optimal care.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain asepsis by ensuring sterile equipment does not come into contact with unsterile items or surfaces.
• Monitor patient health changes and report findings to adapt the care plan as needed.
• Execute first and second scrub duties and prepare the surgical table for advanced procedures.
• Gather supplies and verify the functionality of equipment, ensuring everything is ready for surgery.
• Collaborate with the circulating nurse to verify patient health status and maintain accurate records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support surgical team operations.
