About the position
E Ink is seeking a creative hands-on scientist to join our team and lead the development of novel drive schemes to support the adoption of E Ink displays in new applications. This role is central to the mission of advancing electrophoretic display technologies by deepening our fundamental understanding of all components of electrophoretic display systems and their interactions. As part of E Ink's Research team, you will also support new display product development through the creation of core test methods and instruments. Activities include designing and executing electro-optical experiments, developing models and drive schemes, training and using deep learning models to improve display performance, and furthering fundamental understanding of display performance. As a key team member, you will be expected to take on challenging exploratory projects that lead to product improvement and new products in a culture of open review and critical discussion. E Ink maintains a lean team where each member has strong visibility and responsibility to meet company goals.

Salary Range Disclosure : The annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $105,000 not including any variable pay. The total compensation package may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, and other variable pay components. The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
