Field Operations Coordinator

Location : Reno, NV

Duration : 6 Months

Pay rate : $30 / hr. to $39 / hr.

Responsibilities

• Tracks annual maintenance and capital program workload and schedule.
• Coordinates project-related efforts with project managers, project engineers, other departments, and government agencies.
• Schedules outages for construction with system operations.
• Ensures that all databases for asset management and NERC compliance data are updated and maintained. Assists with annual and quarterly reports for WECC and NERC. Assists with project retirement forms and ensures proper processing of as-built prints.
• Works with procurement to create purchase requisitions.
• Assists in the department planning and budgeting process by identifying and justifying tool and equipment requirements.
• Administers departmental procurement including equipment repair and calibration, personal protective equipment, and general office supplies.
• Oversees substation software contracts and upgrades.
• May be required to review contractor work schedules to ensure contract construction work is completed in accordance with company-imposed deadlines.
• May review and approve contractor's monthly invoices for payment.
• May maintain a daily log of the contractor's construction activities and prepare a weekly activity report of construction progress.
