Regulatory and Product Development

GPAC is working with a client company who is seeking a Regulatory and Product development Specialist. The company is a well-established, rapidly growing national company focused on providing great-tasting, nutritious food for K12 school foodservice customers and private brands of select retailers. Salary : $100k-115k

Location : Onsite - Long Island NY

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain product formulas, specifications, and supporting documentation.
• Review and approve ingredient statements, nutrition facts panels, allergen declarations, and product labels to ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and other applicable regulations.
• Conduct nutritional analysis using formulation software and verify the accuracy of data on finished goods.
• Support new product development projects, including bench-top formulation, plant trials, and product launches.
• Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate new ingredients, review technical data, and assess regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and update regulatory databases, product documentation, and labeling archives.
• Partner with Quality Assurance and the development team to address
