Role Overview We are seeking an all-rounded Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) particularly skilled in stretching massage modalities, to join our team in Locust Valley, NY in the Nassau County / Long Island area. The perfect candidate will focus on providing high-quality therapeutic and wellness massages to support client recovery, flexibility, relaxation, and mobility. Key Responsibilities Conduct client intake and health history to assess individual needs, limitations, and stretching or massage requirements. Deliver safe, professional massages, including dynamic stretching, Swedish, sports, or other modalities, tailored for optimal flexibility, posture, and performance. Create a relaxing and healing environment adhering to hygiene, safety, and licensing standards. Educate clients on at-home stretching and self-care practices to maintain progress between sessions. Maintain detailed, accurate client records (session notes, progress reports) in compliance with privacy norms. Assist with scheduling, supplies, clean-up, and general wellness studio operations as needed. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) (or equivalent credential recognized in New York State or your operating jurisdiction). Strong working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and flexibility / stretching techniques. Excellent communication, client service, and interpersonal skills. Ability to stand for extended periods, perform physical work, and adapt treatments as needed. Professionalism, discretion, and commitment to client safety and wellness.
