LPN - Acute Care Full Time Night

Up to $15,000 sign on bonus for qualified candidates

Guthrie Cortland Medical Center is hiring for a dynamic Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Acute Care Nursing Unit. In this position, you will experience a supportive and integrative Team Nursing Care model. We care for a mixed medical / surgical and telemetry patients. We offer :

Position Summary : Assist physician with duties necessary to support the needs of the practice working within and to the maximum scope of license

Education, License & Cert : LPN license based on corresponding position location

Experience : Oneyear experience in healthcare field preferred but not required

Essential Functions : 1. Directs patient to exam room and prepares patient for exam or treatment by identifying height, weight, respirations, blood pressure, temperature, additional testing, and records same on chart. Will also interview patient to obtain history allergies, reconciles medication list and records on chart as requested.

Other Duties : 1. As assigned as appropriate for LPN licensure

Hourly rate of pay : $26.25 - $32.41 / hour depending on experience
