Experienced 911 Telecommunicator committed to serving the citizens of Vermilion County, Illinois. The 911 Communications Center handles calls for all of Vermilion County and provides dispatch services to 40 agencies including police, fire, and emergency medical services. The right committed and experienced applicant with the following experience, skills, and training, is eligible for a $4,000 sign-on bonus.

• 3 years experience as a 911 Telecommunicator and a minimum of two years with current employer
• Experience must include the following :

High functioning ability to facilitate use of Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system to include accurate data entry, screen navigation, prompt information retrieval, and systems integration.

LEADS and NCIC certified

Excellent verbal and written communication

Detail oriented

45 wpm
