Salary :

We are a prominent surgical, medical, and cosmetic dermatology private practice seeking an experienced Mohs Histotech / Mohs Tech with meticulous attention to detail to join our clinical team. We offer competitive wages, excellent paid time off, and generous benefits.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Performs essential duties in the histology laboratory according to accepted practices.
• Performs frozen section processing for Mohs micrographic surgery
• Cuts tissue in ultra thin sections modifying technique based on tissue type.
• Performs routine, special and Immunohistochemical staining procedures.
• Prepares tissue specimens for routine and special processing, selects correct protocol based on physician orders.
• Follows office, state, federal, and CLIA regulations.

Experience Requirements

One year laboratory experience preferred (Student experience acceptable.)

Education Requirements

Completion of an accredited histology technician or other applicable training program is preferred.

Training and experience in lieu of education is acceptable.

License / Certification Requirements

ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) Registry preferred.

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, PRN.
