Commissioning Engineer – JLL

What this job involves : JLL is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to provide reliable, efficient support to our Commissioning & Building Analytics (CBA) team. You'll work with diverse internal and external stakeholders while exercising independent judgment to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset, directly supporting JLL's commitment to delivering high-quality commissioning services that ensure optimal building performance.

What your day-to-day will look like :

• Execute commissioning processes according to ASHRAE, CSA, and LEED requirements
• Conduct inspections and testing of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and control systems
• Manage commissioning projects through design, pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases
• Develop comprehensive commissioning plans, specifications, and test scripts
• Perform field-based activities including site visits and directing functional tests
• Review design drawings, specifications, and submittals for commissioning compliance
• Lead commissioning meetings and maintain detailed issue logs
