Manufacturing Associate ($17.40-$18.50 / hr.)

Job Description

We are seeking Manufacturing Associates to join our team. The open roles are based on experience / training - Assembly, Quality Inspector, Machine Operator, Material Handler (forklift / tow motor / pallet jack), or packaging / labeling materials for Shipping & Receiving. Most of our openings are for Machine Operators and Material Handlers at this time.

The role requires working on 2nd (3 / 3 : 30 PM - 10 / 10 : 30 PM) or 3rd shifts (11 / 11 : 30 PM - 7 / 7 : 30 AM) with flexible start times.

Openings on 2nd shift left - train on 1st around production

Openings on 3rd shift left - train on 1st around production

Overtime pay rate of $26.10 / hr.-$27.75 / hr.+

Weekly pay

Responsibilities

• Operate large machines and forming machines for screws and bolts.
• Operate screw, tapping, and drill machinery.
• Perform part checks to ensure quality requirements are met using gauges and visual inspections.
• Assist in pulling tools during setup.
• Record statistical process control data into Plex.
• Perform wire-up activities.
• Complete maintenance inspection sheets as required.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Follow and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and written instructions.
• Safely operate tow motor, forklift, or pallet jack around the facility
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

The work environment is a manufacturing setting with a 280,000 square foot facility housing modern equipment. The facility is not temperature-controlled and can be hot during summer months. Safety attire, including steel toe boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs, is mandatory. The role requires working on 2nd (3 / 3 : 30 PM - 10 / 10 : 30 PM) or 3rd shifts (11 / 11 : 30 PM - 7 / 7 : 30 AM) with flexible start times. The company is large, international, and employs over 100 people at its Medina, OH site.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.40 - $18.50 / hr.
