Busy auto body shop in Everett, MA looking for a reliable and motivated auto body painter to join our fast paced team and produce quality work!

Job Type : Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm.

Responsibilities :

• Mix color and ensure all formulations, preparations, top coatings and curing times meet up to standards
• Prep vehicles properly for paint (clean, tape, mask, and etc.)
• Prepare color to match
• Inspect work surfaces to ensure proper cleanliness and readiness before painting
• Apply basecoat, clearcoat, and any specialty finishes as required
• Monitor paint application to ensure an even finish and avoid defects

Qualifications :

• 5+ years off experience
• Must be experienced in water-based paint
• Multitasking skills
• Experience with various types of auto paint and finishes
• proficient in using spray guns, paint booths and mixing systems
• Problem solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Handle work at a high volume location
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
• Excellent knowledge of the auto body repair process, techniques, and industry standards
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize working effectively
• Reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
