About The Position We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens assignment in Georgia, beginning Dec 29, 2025. This opportunity offers a 245-day contract with day shifts Monday through Friday, including both advanced and general procedures, and a half day of clinic once a week. Job Details Location : Georgia Start Date : Dec 29, 2025 LOA : 245 days Provider Type Needed : Gastroenterologist Schedule : Monday to Friday, 7 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm; one half-day clinic per week; 1-4 weeks per month; weekend call can be added Responsibilities and Duties Perform advanced endoscopic procedures, including ERCP and EUS Conduct both outpatient and general gastroenterology procedures Provide care during scheduled day shifts and participate in clinic activities Ensure high-quality patient care and adhere to all clinical protocols Utilize Meditech EHR for patient documentation Additional Information Current Georgia medical license required Board certification in Gastroenterology required Ability to credential within 60-90 days Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
