Empowering the community to alleviate hunger and improve health. That’s the mission. How will you drive it? The Agency Services Coordinator recruits, trains, and monitors partner agencies. Responsible for all documents, records and reports related to agencies, effectiveness in reaching goals, and outreach to communities. The ability to be flexible and have a desire for growth and innovation.

This is what you’ll do!

  • You’ll develop strategies to acquire and retain partner agencies to meet the Food Bank’s mission and strategic goals.
  • You’ll build partnerships and maintain relationships with member agencies throughout 13 county regions to expand service delivery through agency orders and the establishment of new school pantries, brick and mortar pantries and / or mobile pantry sites.
  • You’ll drive to meet the need and be able to pivot as needed
  • You’ll provide outreach and communication to potential agencies.
  • You’ll manage the onboarding process for new agencies, ensuring compliance with the process outlined in the TAFB Partner Agency Contract. This includes screening applications, conducting initial site visits, obtaining required documentation, orienting agencies to food bank processes, and maintaining accurate records and agency files.
  • You’ll conduct regular on-site monitoring visits to member agencies to audit and ensure compliance with Feeding America and Tarrant Area Food Bank
  • You’ll alert Department Leadership to problems or changes in agency status.
  • You’ll ensure adequate records for partner agency files are maintained and up to date, including paper files, electronic files, and information kept in Sage.
  • You’ll manage Civil Rights Training for agencies, provide training, and document its completion in agency files.
  • You’ll gather agency statistics and trends in service via surveys, reports, monitoring visits and direct contact and regularly report findings to leadership.
  • You’ll develop and implement education and training events to promote best practices amongst agency partners and program participants.
  • You’ll participate in regional and statewide conferences to fulfill training requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

  • Education and Experience
  • High school graduate or equivalent required and Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum of 2 – 5 years’ experience in client services and / or social services administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Technical Proficiencies
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Communication Skills
  • Excellence in speaking, writing and presenting information; ability to speak effectively with a diverse audience and respond to inquiries and complaints in a tactful and helpful manner

  • Other Competencies
  • Knowledge of workplace safety best practices; organizational and problem-solving skills; compassion for our mission

    Physical Requirements and Work Environment

    Work in an office and warehouse environment and occasionally at outdoor events.

    This position requires frequent walking, standing, sitting and occasional lifting up to 40 pounds; may encounter exposure to fumes and / or airborne particles, and hear moderate to loud noise from warehouse equipment

    Occasional travel to service areas; must have reliable transportation and possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance (eligible for mileage reimbursement).

    Requires work schedule flexibility with occasional weekend and evening availability.
