Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support a middle school population in Slidell, LA. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed professional who holds an SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, or SLP - School credential and possesses a current Louisiana SLP License. The role is a Non-School Year (NSY) contract, starting ASAP, with an expected schedule of 3-4 days per week.

Key Qualifications :

  • Valid Louisiana SLP License
  • Credentials : SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, or SLP - School
  • Experience working with middle school students preferred

Position Details :

  • Location : Slidell, Louisiana
  • Population served : Middle school age group
  • Contract duration : Non-School Year (NSY)
  • Start date : Immediate
  • Work schedule : 3-4 days per week
  • Pay rate : $40-45 per hour

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for middle school students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports according to state and local guidelines
