Warehouse Associate Representative
The Warehouse Associate Representative is responsible for performing tasks related to accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. This includes lifting, placing, and removing boxes from conveyors as well as replenishing materials used while adhering to strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role requires the operation of RF scanners, understanding of SAP functions, strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced regulated environment with a focus on safety. Ability to work well in a team environment is a must.
Order Picking : Use an RF scanner and pick list to accurately find, gather, and enter data for pharmaceutical products from warehouse shelves or designated storage locations including refrigerators and freezers.
Order Packing : Securely, package picked items in appropriate containers, use of packing materials such as bubble wrap, paper and ice bricks to ensure the safety and security of product to be shipped.
Shipping : Prepare product for shipment, ensure correct application of shipping labels and shipping documents.
Quality and Compliance : Inspect product for damage or defects during the picking and packing process. Follow GMP / Good Manufacturing Practices and GDP / Good Distribution Practices to ensure the integrity of the product.
Safe operation of material handling equipment and hand tools such as forklifts, pallet jacks (manual and electric), carts, dollies, box cutters, wire cutters, etc.-to unload trucks and stock the warehouse / pharmacy
Communicate discrepancies or issues as they occur to the appropriate personnel
Maintain organization and cleanliness of assigned workstations and areas
Other duties as assigned
What you need :
Minimum six months in a distribution center environment required
Ability to accurately compare two sets of data required
Basic math, organization, computer, and communication skills required; additionally, the ability to read and differentiate small print is required.
Ability to perform repetitive bending, squatting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, hand motions, and lift up to 50 lbs. is required for assigned shift.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download / 5Mbps upload.
