Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Rawhide Food Truck Supervisor to join our team. As the Food Truck Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality customer service, and manage staff. You will also assist in coordinating events and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed.
Responsibilities :
Supervision and Management :
- Lead and supervise the food truck team, ensuring all staff are trained, motivated, and performing their duties effectively.
- Schedule and manage staff shifts, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
- Handle staff conflicts and provide feedback to improve performance.
Operational Efficiency :
Oversee the preparation and serving of food, ensuring all menu items are prepared according to established recipes and quality standards.Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed and manage food costs to maximize profitability.Maintain the food truck in excellent working condition, ensuring all equipment is clean and operational.Customer Service :
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints in a professional manner.Engage with customers to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.Ensure that all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly.Compliance and Safety :
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards.Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain cleanliness and organization.Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both staff and customers.Event Coordination :
Assist in planning and executing special events, including private parties, festivals, and corporate events.Coordinate with event organizers to ensure smooth operations and timely service.Adapt to varying event environments and manage logistical challenges effectively.Working Environment :
Work in a confined space that requires efficient movement and multitasking.Operate in various weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold, as the food truck is mobile and often serves outdoor events.Handle a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment, particularly during peak service times.Event Assistance :
Travel to different locations as needed for events, which may include weekends, evenings and holidays.Adapt to different event settings, from intimate gatherings to large festivals, requiring flexibility and a positive attitude.Collaborate with event staff and other vendors to ensure a cohesive and successful event experience.Supervisor Responsibility :
Oversees the supervision of personnel, which includes hiring, work allocation, training, problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance; provides guidance and feedback for assigned staff.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk extended period. The employee occasionally is required to bend, climb, stoop, lift, carry, push, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and / or move 15 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications :
High School diploma or GED.CPR and First Aid Certification within 90 days of hire.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required for events.Valid AZ driver's license, provide a 39-month satisfactory MVR report.Obtain a Tribal operator driving permit at the time of hire.A satisfactory result obtained through a test for illegal drugs.Acknowledge and agree to maintain a drug-free workplace.Preferred Qualifications :
Previous experience in food service, preferably in a supervisory role.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.Knowledge and experience working with Gila River Indian Community or other Native American Communities.Proficient in MS office and other relevant workplace tools.
