Job description

We are looking to fill a long-term Contract role as Telecommunications Network Technician

Mode of Interview : Either Web Cam or In Person

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Work Location : Richmond, VA

Shift : EST

Required Qualifications :

  • 5 years of experience and knowledge of OSI model layers 1-4, fiber optics, MPLS, cellular technologies, VoIP, 5G, TCP / IP, UDP, ICMP, IP Network concepts,(subnetting / routing)
  • 2 years of intermediate skills in using Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience and working knowledge of networking tools, such as Fluke Versiv with light meter, DYMO labeler, OTDR and copper toner probe kit.
  • 2 years of experience in researching and documenting communications technologies, topologies and trends.
  • 10 years of experience in data and telecommunications to include installing, testing and inspecting deployed communications systems.
  • 10 years of experience in Installation, maintain and support of critical, multi-site networks.
