Job description

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician for a full-time, permanent role in a well-established Primary Care practice near Townsend, Delaware. This position offers the chance to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. The practice is located in a vibrant community with a supportive environment for personal and professional growth.

Position Overview :

  • Location : Near Townsend, Delaware
  • Position Type : Full-time, permanent
  • Specialty : Family Medicine (Primary Care)
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday with flexible shift options (8-hour or 10-hour shifts)
  • Call Schedule : Equitable call schedule, including nights and weekends
  • On-Call Requirements : Shared, including weekend responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients of all ages
  • Opportunity to work in a newly renovated and expanded facility
  • Engage in patient education and preventive care to promote healthy lifestyles
  • Potential to teach within a Family Medicine Residency program
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high standards of patient care

    • Qualifications :

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (required)
  • Active Delaware medical license or willingness to obtain one
  • DEA certification or eligibility
  • Experience working with a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
  • Clean malpractice and licensing history
  • Fluency or proficiency in medical Spanish is highly desirable but not required
