Job descriptionDrive to any job within 90 minutes of Raleigh, NC Install all cabinets to the specs of the layout, using filler and scribe, wherever required Ensure all cabinets are level, plumb, and no visible gaps Occasionally build islands or other custom features Install all knobs and pulls Adjust all doors Touch up any imperfections Clean work area to "broom clean" and put all trash and boxes in provided dumpster $30 / box includes hardware installation $30 / crown stick $30 / island blank panel $15 / filler $60 / pantry cabinet $90 / wall oven cabinet $75 travel fee for over 1 hour from Raleigh This is a 1099 independent contractor position. All invoices and photos received by midnight each Tuesday are direct deposited on Friday. If details are not as expected, change orders must be approved before work has begun.

The Keystep Housing Fund is a a real estate investment company specializing in buying undervalued residential properties that are in need of repair, completing the remodels, and selling them as "Rent-To-Own" to tenant buyers who could not otherwise purchase a home. We do approximately 50 remodels per year and with with the same subcontractors on each property. All of our properties are within 90 minutes of Raleigh, NC.
We are looking for a self-motivated cabinet installer with experience installing for production level cabinet dealers. We will provide layouts and elevations, as well as the pre-assembled cabinets and hardware. A qualified installer must have attention to detail and be able to touch-up the cabinets, adjust doors, and provide photos of their work before leaving the jobsite.
