Mental Health Clinician

$70.00/hour – PRN, 8 hours/week

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Review all newly enrolled MIECHV funded families
• Identify families who would benefit from mental health consultation. Additional families may be identified by home visitors or supervisors
• Monthly review of each family for purpose of developing appropriate intervention plan
• Provide monthly (min. 1 hour) individual consultation to home visitors who serve MIECHV funded families
• Monitor and identify trends related to mental health concerns, report concerns to program management
• Conduct training (minimum bi-monthly) to address overall trends and concerns related to mental health, and mental health related training as requested by home visitors, supervisors or program management
• Provide documentation to program management and DCS using provided forms and the Healthy Families database
• Participation in evaluation of mental health consultation services as requested by program management or DCS
• Enter documentation as appropriate and requested in statewide data system (FamilyWise)
• Seek and maintain Endorsement from the Indiana Association for Infant and Toddler Mental Health

EDUCATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in social work, psychology, marriage/family, or related human service field required
• Current clinical license issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board as one of the following: 1. Clinical Social Worker 2. Marriage and Family Therapist 3. Mental Health Counselor required
