Your Role Awaits
  • Performing comprehensive patient evaluations, ordering diagnostics, and developing tailored care plans
  • Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic conditions either independently or in collaboration with physicians
  • Educating patients and their families on wellness strategies, prevention, and chronic disease management
  • Prescribing medications and treatment plans within the bounds of your practice
  • Engaging in follow-up and chronic disease management for patients
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for seamless holistic care
  • Diligently documenting within electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications To Consider
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
  • Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
  • Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialization
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or readiness to obtain within 90 days)
