Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and develop electronic components used in advanced medical diagnostic laboratory instruments. This role plays a key part in new product development, ensuring electrical design integrity, reliability, and compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Job Duties :
- Provide electrical and electronic engineering expertise to support new device design and development.
- Apply sound design engineering principles, leveraging the latest tools and technologies.
- Perform schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout using industry-standard tools.
- Develop detailed design documentation and interface specifications for cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality).
- Design, evaluate, and troubleshoot electronic circuits and components for diagnostic instrumentation.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure robust product design, testing, and documentation.
- Contribute to design control deliverables and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain technical reports, work instructions, change control records, and development plans.
- Present design recommendations and updates to internal management teams.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.Proficiency with schematic capture, simulation, and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, or similar).Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for electronic systems and circuits.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Experience in FDA-regulated or medical device product development preferred.Familiarity with embedded systems, sensors, and electro-mechanical integration a plus.
