Traveling Journeyman Electrician

Overview : We are seeking a skilled and cleared Journeyman Electrician to support Base Infrastructure Modernization projects across multiple U.S. Air Force installations. This is a traveling role, with each base project expected to last approximately 3 to 4 months. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, safety compliance, and hands-on experience in residential, commercial, or industrial environments. All travel-related expenses are covered, and a daily per diem is provided to support lodging and meals while on assignment.

Responsibilities :

• Inspect electrical components and systems to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical codes
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures
• Support modernization efforts including infrastructure upgrades and system replacements
• Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards
• Travel to various Air Force bases as part of a rotating modernization schedule
