Vice President of Finance And Operations

One of the largest health systems in the US is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Financial Operations to lead financial strategy and operations at a flagship facility undergoing major transformation. This role is pivotal in shaping the financial future of a $500M expansion opening in two months, and will serve as the financial face of the hospital.

The VP will report directly to the COO & SVP of Finance for Medical Group and Physician Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial operations across a complex healthcare environment including hospitals, homecare / hospice, nursing, and medical groups
• Drive budgeting and forecasting for FY2026 and beyond
• Partner with clinical and operational leaders including nursing, ED, and specialty programs (thoracic, interventional cardiology, vascular)
• Provide strategic financial leadership for a newly constructed wing and high-acuity service lines
• Serve as a visible leader and trusted advisor to senior leadership
• Be physically present at the hospital at least 4 days per week to ensure deep operational engagement
• Mentor and guide overwhelmed financial managers currently navigating budget development
