Pediatrics Physician

Consult all Pediatric ER cases when requested and all cases as per hospital policies. Assist in other areas in hospital (pediatric unit, OR s etc.) as needed. Attend all pediatric educational activities (Grand Rounds, etc.) and skill sessions as required by Department of Pediatrics. Must be a positive role model for nurses, and students. Work with department to develop strong positive ties with patients and their families, private attending staff and surgeons. May assist neonatologists in clinical activities when workloads in nurseries require additional support (and primary care responsibilities are completed or well covered by other personnel). EHMC neonatologists are primary supervisors for all clinical activities in newborn medicine.
