We are seeking a passionate and skilled Behavior Coach / Interventionist to join our team for the current school year. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives on helping students develop positive behaviors, build social-emotional skills, and achieve academic and personal success.
Hourly Rate Range : $38.00 - $44.00 per hour
Responsibilities include :
- Provide direct behavioral support to students in individual and small-group settings.
- Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to promote positive behavior and emotional regulation.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) .
- Support classroom management and model proactive behavioral strategies for school staff.
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and crisis intervention as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Conduct or assist with staff training and consultation on behavior management and de-escalation techniques.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or Applied Behavior AnalysisOR
Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Education or Special Education with five (5) years of experience working with students with behavioral and emotional disabilities.Additional Requirements (Must Obtain and Maintain) :
