Position Summary of Safety Manager

The Safety Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for Rauhorn Electric’s safety and health programs across multiple infrastructure projects. This role ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, DOT, EPA, and utility / owner-specific requirements) and promotes a proactive safety culture to protect employees, subcontractors, and the public. The Safety Manager oversees a team of safety professionals and partners with leadership to implement best-in-class safety systems for high-voltage, underground, overhead, and civil utility construction operations.

Responsibilities of Safety Manager

Program Leadership & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and continually improve corporate safety programs, policies, and procedures aligned with utility contractor industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and client-specific safety requirements across all project sites.
• Maintain strong working relationships with client safety representatives and regulatory agencies.
