A Global Government Contracting Company is seeking a Cleared Linux System Administrator to join their team in Sunnyvale, CA!
- This role is 100% onsite. Secret clearance is required. Must also have current Sec+ Cert or be able to obtain one within 3-6 months.

Responsibilities :
Administer, maintain, and optimize Linux systems in physical, virtual, and containerized environmentsAutomate system provisioning and configuration using AnsibleDeploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)Ensure system hardening and compliance via STIG and SCAP toolsManage and support NFS protocols and enterprise storage systems (e.g., NetApp)Support virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM) and container orchestration (OpenShift / OpenStack)Collaborate on network troubleshooting and perform basic network configurationsApply security best practices, including SELinux policies and firewall configurationMonitor system performance, respond to incidents, and proactively resolve issuesCreate and maintain clear documentation for system configurations and proceduresRequired Qualifications :
3+ years of Linux system administration experienceStrong experience with Ansible for infrastructure automationHands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes-based container environmentsFamiliarity with OpenShift or similar enterprise container platformsExperience with STIG / SCAP compliance tools and methodologiesSolid understanding of NFS and NetApp storage managementWorking knowledge of virtualization (VMware, KVM)Basic networking experience (DNS, routing, VLANs, firewalls)Proficiency in scripting (Bash preferred)Understanding of SELinux and firewalld for system securitySecurity certifications (Security+, CISSP, CEH)Secret / Top Secret ClearancePreferred Qualifications :
