Targeting candidates with prior asset management services experience who can work on-site in Boston, MA 3 days per week

Overview :

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with a strong background in financial services. This is a critical role on a small, high-impact team supporting investment management operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Core Analysis & Mapping : Conduct comprehensive data analysis, validation, and mapping, including data conversion and system requirements analysis at both the code and data levels.
• Manage Requirements & Documentation : Gather, document, and translate business and system requirements into actionable specifications.
• Optimize Workflows : Understand and analyze complex business workflows to identify problems and opportunities, particularly in the context of reporting requirements.
• Ensure Data Quality : Document all incident findings to contribute to the central data quality knowledge base.
• Provide Project Leadership : Manage project tasks, communicate status updates clearly to stakeholders, and conduct effective meetings to foster technology dialogue with business users.
• Drive Strategic Improvements : Think strategically to implement and improve cross-team workflows, leveraging expertise in Business Process Management (BPM) tools.
• Uphold Standards : Adhere to internal Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methods and research, test, and track business issues and software defects.
