The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients' plan of care, while creating an atmosphere that supports the mission to care, to heal, to educate. The Staff Nurse acts as the primary care giver, providing direct patient care and collaborating with other care team members, physicians, and patients / families to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The nurse has access to confidential patient information and makes independent decisions as well as collaborates with others as necessary.
