One of the perks of working in the Float Pool unit is that you will be cross-trained in all of our 37 units! Our staff develop a broad skill set by experiencing a diverse and ever-changing patient population. You will assist with delivering patient care and maintaining unit environmental standards under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The environment with our team is collaborative, supportive, and highly communicative. We care for adult patients across 37 Vanderbilt Adult Hospital units who are being treated for various medical conditions (Med Surg, Stepdown, and ICU).

In this role, you will be able to administer ADLs, vitals, lab draws, acute checks, place foleys, and straight caths. Coming soon will be wound care.
