As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and keen observation will contribute to a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so you will need to navigate the property responsibly as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail or mall location.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or security-related situations to the appropriate personnel.Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits of the location.Support emergency response activities, including guiding visitors and staff during incidents.Work collaboratively with retail or mall staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment.What We're Looking For :

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.A current guard card or license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
