Job description
A company is looking for a Legal Assistant to support legal practice groups with document processing tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Prepares, revises, and formats legal documents using various software applications
Converts documents to appropriate formats and prepares them for e-filing in federal and Colorado state courts
Performs advanced document functions such as bookmarking, cross-referencing, and troubleshooting document issues
Required Qualifications
5+ years of legal document processing experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, iManage, and other legal software
Experience with e-filing in federal and Colorado state courts
Ability to type a minimum of 60 words per minute
Strong understanding of legal document formatting and proofreading
