Job Overview

Robert Pike Construction is looking for a hardworking and dependable Laborer to join our field operations team. This role is essential to supporting excavation, water, sewer, paving, and concrete projects. The Laborer will assist equipment operators, handle site preparation, perform general construction duties, and help maintain a safe and efficient work environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is motivated, reliable, and eager to learn the trade.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with excavation, water / sewer, paving, and concrete projects.

Perform site preparation tasks including digging, grading, and cleanup.

Support operators and foremen by handling tools, equipment, and materials.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite at all times.

Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards.

Load and unload materials and equipment as directed.

Operate basic construction tools and assist with truck driving if certified.

Qualifications

1+ year of construction or related labor experience preferred.

Valid medical card for truck driving preferred but not required. the company will help get it for you if hired.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn.

Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.

Must be able to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

A background check will be completed as part of the onboarding process, in compliance with applicable laws.
