This role is for one of our large franchise partners, Adaptive Insurance, in Schaumburg, IL.

Job Summary

This team is responsible for new business revenue generation monthly and works to achieve these on an individual and team level. Account Executives are equipped with extensive training in Salesforce, sales process management, business development and more.

This role is designed for a professional who thrives on building relationships, responding quickly to warm leads, and delivering tailored insurance solutions that align with real estate transactions and client needs. As part of Adaptive Insurance's referral-driven model, you will primarily engage in incoming calls and emails from our internal network of sales partners, allowing you to focus on new business sales rather than outbound prospecting and servicing.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Warm Lead Management :

  • Respond promptly to incoming calls, emails, and digital inquiries from real estate agents, loan officers, and referred clients.
  • Guide clients through insurance options, answer questions, and recommend coverage tailored to their specific needs.

Sales Execution :

  • Present clear, personalized insurance solutions (auto, home, and other insurance products) and close sales efficiently to meet individual and team revenue goals.
  • Follow up strategically with referred clients to ensure timely quotes and seamless policy onboarding.
  • Relationship Building :

  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal referral partners to maximize lead flow and build trust.
  • Serve as a reliable, knowledgeable insurance resource for both clients and partners.
  • Cross-Selling Opportunities :

  • Identify opportunities to offer multiple policies to provide clients with comprehensive coverage and added value.
  • Compliance & Documentation :

  • Accurately complete applications, issue policies, and document all client interactions in accordance with state regulations, carrier requirements, and agency procedures.
  • Collaboration :

  • Partner with teammates and agency leadership to improve sales processes, service levels, and client experience.
  • Compensation Summary

    Earning potential for the first year ranges from $65,000 - $81,000, varying based on performance. Renewal commissions provide passive earnings and can exponentially increase your annualized income. Additionally, top performers can qualify for an annual President's Club trip.

    Experience and Education

  • Passing the state licensing exam, once hired
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Proven track record in sales or customer-facing roles (insurance experience a plus)
  • Required Skills and Abilities

  • Property & Casualty license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Customer-first mindset with a professional, approachable demeanor
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage a high volume of inbound activity
  • Enthusiasm for helping people protect what matters most and achieve their financial goals
  • B2B or B2C sales experience or related college major
