Manager of Application Security

A company is looking for a Manager of Application Security.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of application security engineers, conducting regular 1 : 1s and fostering career development

Perform application security reviews, provide guidance on security architecture, and develop scalable security solutions

Drive cross-functional security initiatives and maintain oversight of team efforts and performance metrics

Required Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, or GRC, with at least 3 years in application security programs

Proven experience leading security or security-focused SRE teams in a SaaS or product company

Expert-level understanding of security libraries, controls, and vulnerabilities

Strong development / scripting skills; experience with .NET Core, Go, or Python preferred

Holds at least two relevant security certifications (e.g., CSSLP, CASE, GWEB, OSCP, OSWE)
