Job descriptionPerform phlebotomy activities to draw samples for screening and collection visits Conduct medical history questionnaires and qualify potential donors over the phone and in person to ensure they meet the specific study requirements Gather and input appropriate and accurate information to register donors to become part of the donor network Assist with day-to-day activities and ensure the center operations run smoothly Check in donors upon arrival and ensure they are seated in the proper waiting area Explains policies, procedures, or services to donors using clinical or administrative knowledge, based on scope of practice Prepare patients for apheresis procedures, explaining the process and addressing any questions or concerns Maintain accurate and complete records of procedures, including patient information, procedure details, and outcomes Clean / re-process equipment and supplies based on SOPs Maintain inventory of supplies and place orders as necessary Ensure all critical materials and consumables for each collection are stocked before each appointment Perform other duties, as needed Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and / or Certificate of Completion of an accredited MA or similar program Current BLS certification Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Authorization to work in the United States Creative thinker with the ability to identify and solve problems Ability to function well both independently and as part of a team Ability to multitask under pressure and be highly responsive to patients & team members Experience with Salesforce, Procurify, and Airspace applications
